Donald L. Dillingham. President. Before joining Merit, Don was involved in structuring and placing high yield debt offerings for corporations and municipalities. He developed the bank investment contract (BIC) for a national financial institution that was underwritten on a regional basis. He developed an adjustable rate preferred unit investment trust that was issued by a leading closed-end fund through a regional underwriting firm. Don is a CFA charterholder, CPA, CFP and is a member of CFA Institute. Don serves on Merit's investment committee, assisting with the execution of Merit's high yield bond model.
Matthew E. Spangler. Vice President, joined the firm in February of 2010. Matt graduated from Okla. Baptist Univ. in 1999 with a BBA in Management. He entered the financial services industry in 1999 and for more than 10 years was associated with one of the larger financial/insurance companies in the U.S. Matt works as an Investment Adviser Representative, assists with the management of Merit’s client accounts, serves on Merit’s investment committee and assists with the execution of Merit's investment models.
