Paul Cunningham is the founder of Merit Advisors. Paul entered the securities business in 1959, has served as a registered representative, branch manager for two New Stock Exchange member firms and formed Merit Advisors in 1988.  Paul holds three academic degrees:  a Bachelor of Science in Education, a Master of Education and an MBA in Finance.  In 1987 he began offering a proprietary market timing service for high yield bond funds.  He presently serves as President of Merit Advisors, Inc.

Donald L. Dillingham is Vice-President of Merit Advisors.  He joined the firm in July of 2003.  Before joining Merit Advisors, Don was involved in structuring and placing high yield debt offerings for corporations and municipalities.  He developed the bank investment contract (BIC) for a national financial institution that was underwritten on a regional basis.  He put together an adjustable rate preferred unit investment trust that was issued by a leading closed-end fund through a regional underwriting firm.  Don is a CFA, CPA, CFP and is a member of the Association of Investment and Management Research (AIMR).  At Merit, Don serves as Vice-President and is a member of Merit's investment committee.
